Men's Ministries

The men at Gilroy Presbyterian Church enjoy hanging out and having fun. Our activities allow men to come together, discover common interests, and build friendships based on trust and support. Our activities also allow men to grow in their faith and understanding of God.

Men's Small Groups

There are over a dozen small groups that come together once a month for dinner and discussion. The men rotate who's home they will gather in. It's a chance for men to have fun, eat great food, and get to know each other on a deeper level. It's also a chance to share and learn how God is making a difference in our homes and at work. Promise Keepers

Promise Keepers marked its 15th year of conference ministry in 2005. It began when Bill McCartney, then football coach for the University of Colorado envisioned a gathering of 50,000 men at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field for training and teaching on what it means to be godly men. He was imagining a revival among Christian men who were willing to take a stand for God in their marriages, families, churches, and communities. Revival and discipleship are the two elements that became the foundation and focus of Promise Keepers. Last year there were 738,000 men at 13 conferences. Mt. Hermon's Fall Men's Conference

These retreats are three great days of hanging out with other men, learning, relaxing, and getting in touch with God. Mount Hermon's Ponderosa Lodge is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and has access to paint-ball, mountain biking, surfing, tennis, ropes course, swimming, and more. Lodging is in carpeted cabins that sleep eight people, with built-in bunk beds and bathrooms.
